During our final month of living in Kansas City, we had the privilege of working with some truly talented and generous people on a short film telling our adoption story. Travis and Alison tirelessly followed our family around on a series of early morning and sunset shoots through some of our favorite places to explore. Then, we wrote the script together telling the beautiful way our family was formed.
It was difficult to sum up the emotions of a whole decade of parenting-of placements, adoptions and raising our sons. But somehow it all came together so magically and authentic to our personalities. It was a work of art! We are amazed at the quality and creativity Travis and Alison poured out into this project for our family and are so thankful. Our hope is that this video will inspire people of the beauty and redemption of adoption as well as to carry the message that “overwhelming love is possible”. We hope you enjoy!
